Ian Dahlberg is no stranger to the security world. He started off in the U.S Coast Guard as a Federal Boarding Officer at the elite Anti-Terrorism  and Law Enforcement Unit MSST 91106. When he left the Coast Guard, Ian explored his new opportunities as a civilian. Nothing appealed to him until the day he took a job as a Security Officer while attending college. Ian felt a comforting sense of familiarity from his time in the Coast Guard and decided to pursue a career in security. Since then, Ian has moved up the ranks in his security career and held executive positions with 2 of the largest security companies in the world. At these positions, he managed many accounts and was responsible for more than 300 Security Officers and 10,000 hours of Security Officer coverage a week. From these big corporations, Ian realized that there was room for improvement in the security industry. That’s when Ian decided to go off on his own to start Dahlcore. At Dahlcore we believe that security is more than a business, it is a responsibility. A responsibility not only to our clients but our Security Officers as well.
